Hobbycraft Christmas Wreath...

As that time of year is creeping upon us again, my crafty side likes to come out for a little play, so when I was given the opportunity to try my hand at making a Christmas Wreath care of Hobbycraft, I couldn't wait to get my hands dirty. As it was, they didn't get very dirty at all as it was so quick and delightfully simple to make.

Here is what I was sent to make my wreath.

Along with a little wicker heart.

I loved the natural rattan wreath, and an absolute bargain! I knew straight away I wanted to incorporate the pretty red and white paper roses. As for the wicker heart, I liked the idea of it hanging from the top. I decorated it simply using one of the red velvet ribbons.

After removing the already included ribbon on the wicker heart, and I'd finished attaching the roses on the wreath, I got my trusty garden twine out ready to hang the heart.

I loved the way it finally looked, and all done in the blink of an eye. Now thats the sort of mini project I really enjoy!

Simple, yet very effective.

Now to incorporate those LED tealights. I thought the best way would be to just attach the one to help create a little night time glow.

I now have a wonderful welcome to greet me and as it's not too Christmas-esque, would also make a perfect all year round wreath!
